Rapid Response Sister or Charge Nurse, North West Surrey Adult Services, CSH Surrey. Band 6, 37.5 hours.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated nurses to join our highly regarded Rapid Response Service and offer either full time or part time hours. Based at St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey.

Working in a Multi- Professional Team you will provide advanced levels of nursing practice to assess, investigate, diagnose, treat and prescribe rehabilitation packages of care to support patients in their own environment and prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.

Although expected to work autonomously you will not be alone. The team is supported by a Service Manager, Matrons, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and you will work alongside A&E Consultants, GPs, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Community Nurses and Social Care Practitioners.

Qualities we are looking for:

  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and also as part of the wider disciplinary team Flexible approach to work with the ability to work across a seven day service 
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification or willingness to work towards
  • Ability to relate to patients and colleagues in a sensitive manner.
