Who are we?

and beyond. Barts Health have partnered with East End Health Network (EEHN) which comprises four primary care practices within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. EEHN serves a diverse community of 40,000 people. They have a history of delivering innovative services and work across community and secondary services to ensure high quality health care for their patients.

The Role…

We are looking for an experienced physiotherapist to work in a first contact practitioner role in a primary care setting delivering expert MSK management to patients at the beginning of the pathway. You will also have the opportunity to work across Barts Health secondary care clinics providing expert assessment alongside the wider MDT.

The Team…

You will be joining a large and diverse MSK team that spans across whole MSK pathway. This comprises GPs, nurse practitioners and other members of the Primary care team, Physiotherapists, Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners, GPs with special MSK interest and Secondary Care Consultants.

What you will be doing…

You will be working mainly in GP practices that form the EEHN, in a first contact role for adult MSK conditions. You will lead service development and review, ensuring the service is able to provide safe, high quality, evidence based, and holistic management of primary care patients. You will also be expected to work in secondary care clinics, with the support of the wider MDT, to ensure development of advanced practice skills and integration into the MSK pathway.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop advanced clinical, leadership, research and educational skills. This is supported with a mix of internal and external development pathways such as the FCP road map, Quality Improvement training and the opportunity to participate in post-graduate HEI courses.
