FAMILY SERVICES AND SURGERY DIVISION

DECONTAMINATION SERVICES DEPARTMENT

DECONTAMINATION SERVICES ASSISTANT (BAND 2)

We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated Decontamination Services Assistant to join our small friendly team.

The successful applicant will be expected to work in the Sterile Services Department and the Endoscopy Decontamination Department and full training will be provided.

You will be expected to be able to follow clear working instructions in order to meet the standards required to deliver quality care for our patients.

You should be able to work as part of a team and be able to work under pressure in a constantly changing production environment.

Although not essential, it would be desirable for the successful applicant to have a clean driving licence and be prepared to undertake some driving duties to deliver items to our external customers.

Your daily duties will be on a rota basis and will include early and late shifts (between the hours of 0700 and 2200 hrs) and weekends (between 0900 and 1700 hrs).

DBS - If you join us and need a new DBS check, we will recover the costs through a salary deduction (£40 - enhanced check or £23 - standard)
