To qualify for the apprenticeship role the minimum criteria is:-

  • that you must have GCSE in English and Maths
  • you do not have a degree/higher qualification
  • have not completed an apprentice programme in the past

 

Our Commitment to you is to help you gain a qualification in Junior Content Producer Level 3 Apprenticeship within a 18 month contract.

Hours of work will typically be 9am-5pm, 37.5 hours per week, predominantly working at Leicester Royal Infirmary on projects for both LRI and the health and social care system.

This is an excellent opportunity to earn while you learn.

As part of the apprentice scheme you will have access to study sessions, a mentor and a training provider. The Learning and Development Team cover a broad range of activities, including leading the organisations apprenticeship services, developing eLearning content, leading on the health and social care system Work Experience platform and content. This post is ideal for someone who wants an understanding of a corporate administration role with eLearning development opportunities whilst gaining an understanding of different learning systems that provides a range of transferable skills.

The skills learnt will be based around receiving and responding to enquiries for learning from staff and the general public, creating and maintaining files, supporting our marketing of careers through organising career attraction events (virtual and physical), producing eLearning content and course materials, Twitter management and inputting and collecting data. In addition to effective interpersonal skills, the post holder will need to be willing to learn new skills and work on a variety of tasks across the team for a number of different managers.

The ideal candidate must have Functional Skills in maths and English at level 2 or above, or a maths and English GCSE (grade 4 / C minimum) and have studied GSCE in IT or Multi Media. The ideal candidate should also be able to follow instructions and possess a good initial level of customer service/communication skills and have a passion for developing content for creative and digital media.
