Adult Eating Disorders Service wishes to recruit to an immediately available permanent full-time Business Lead/ Senior Administrator Lead position,primarily based at Albert Suite but expected to travel to other AEDS bases. You'll be joining our thriving, happy and well established multi-disciplinary team, co- located in Guildford and Epsom sites. Your role will be to proactively support the Service Manager and Senior Management team with all aspects of staffing, recruitment and smooth service running.

This is an exciting time to be part of a developing, although well established service with a number of service transformation projects in progress. This a new role within the service and you will be able to lead on many tasks outlined by the service manager. You will also be able to coordinate the work load of the existing Band 4 Administration staff and to supervise and appraise them.

We are a very reflective and supportive team, and we are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment with a wide variety of clinicians who are very proud of the work that they do.

The post-holder will be responsible for coordinating the Manager’s workload and supporting the manager at all times with service related issues that will include;

  • Timely monthly submission of staffing reports to finance
  • Assiting with all AED service transformation/development project, including coordination with external agencies where necessary
  • Arranging conference calls and Meetings as required by the Manager
  • Adding all new posts onto NHS JOBS and managing all aspects of the permanent and Agency recruitment process with the manager, including coordination of all interviews and student placements.
  • Approving staff training – including the management and invoicing of any external training providers as required
  • Managing or oversight of the minutes of AEDS Business Meeting
  • Overseeing the staff compliance to all policies / procedures
  • Overseeing of all staff absences on ESR
  • Completion end of year accounts and regular petty cash management
  • Managing booking of all staff supervision, training and appraisal trackers
  • Setting up ad hoc whole team training and service visits
  • Checking and highlighting to manager of any issues regarding the monthly/annual audits for the service.
  • Coordination and tracking of all staff annual leave

The post will be attractive to an experienced Band 5 or someone wishing to develop into a Band 5 role and who can demonstrate both ability for autonomous thinking, possesses excellent organisational skills and enjoys team work. The team is extremely collaborative and supportive across all disciplines and the Business Lead/Administration Lead role is a highly regarded position, as it is seen as supportive and integral to the whole service.

Please note that all salaries shown are based on whole time of 37.5 hours per week for non-medical roles and 40 hours per week for medical roles, part time roles are pro-rated accordingly.
