This is a fantastic opportunity to work for Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust within our First Contact Physiotherapy service; working as a First Contact Physiotherapist within a Primary Care setting.
The post holder(s) will work independently assessing musculoskeletal patients within the Rotherham GP Hubs. The successful candidates will assess/triage patients within 20 minute appointments following appropriate care navigation by the GP Practice teams.
The First Contact Physiotherapist will operate at an advanced level of clinical practice with skills to assess, diagnose, treat and manage musculoskeletal (MSK) problems and undifferentiated conditions. This will involve seeing patients, without prior referral from their GP, to establish a rapid and accurate diagnosis and management plan thus streamlining pathways of care.

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure, and you can choose to have this deducted from either your first month’s salary or in instalments over your first 3 months’ salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.
