ROTATIONAL BAND 6 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

37.5 hours per week @ 1.0 WTE

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust are seeking Band 6 Occupational Therapists to join the new band 6 rotational programme.

This is a unique opportunity within a nine month rotation to develop a broad knowledge base in a range of clinical specialties. In this round of recruitment, we are recruiting to a rotation post available within our Older People’s Mental Health Intensive Home Treatment Team.

The Rotational Band 6 Occupational Therapists will be offered:

  • Line management, professional and clinical OT supervision in line with Guidance from the Royal College of Occupational Therapists
  • Annual Personal Development Review (PDR)
  • Professional career development opportunities through training
  • Encouragement to contribute to service development and innovation projects in the Directorates and Boroughs
  • Opportunity to develop skills as a leader and supervisor
  • Opportunity to attend the annual Oxleas Therapies Conference
  • Wider communication with the Trust via the quarterly Oxleas Occupational Therapy Newsletter

Some services have evening and weekend working - the Rotational Band 6 Occupational Therapists will actively contribute to this alongside the wider Occupational Therapy service. Actual working hours are dependent on service need.
