Several opportunities have arisen for bank Secretarial Administrative Assistants to support the Clinical Secretarial Teams and the Outpatient Booking Services Teams across various departments and specialties across Eastbourne DGH and Conquest hospitals

These posts have various responsibilities which will include; the proof reading and processing of clinical correspondence, routine administrative tasks, answering high volumes of patient calls and booking patient appointments on our internal systems. You may be required to work across any of these departments to support operational pressures.

You will need to be self-motivated, hardworking and have excellent administration and communication skills. The successful candidate needs to be a team player. This is crucial as you will be working across various teams and departments. You will also need the ability to combine being a team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate needs to be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and work to tight deadlines. We also expect the successful candidate to deliver high levels of customer service, sensitivity and professionalism.

There is flexibility in regards to the working hours we can offer. However, we are looking for those hours to be within the core office hours i.e. Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm.
