We have an exciting opportunity for a Cash Collection/Credit Control Team Leader to join our Finance Department located at our Head Office in Central London, NW1 4LJ (close to Regents Park & Baker Street tubes stations).

Job Profile:

The Cash Collection Team Leader will manage a range of duties relating to cash management and Credit Control within the Billing and Accounts Receivable team whilst engaging with, supporting and partnering with Outsourced Partners

 

  • Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Salary: The attractive salary for this role is up to £35,000 per annum, and will be dependent upon skills and experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervising the cash collection team of 6, including one cashier, with responsibility for cash collection from private patients and companies (B2B and B2C).
  • Ensure delivery of targeted DSO and cash collection targets, keeping debts to a minimum, whilst managing a high value, high volume portfolio.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely cash posting, ensuring end of day reconciliation is completed.
  • Provision of aged debtor reporting to the HoS, including DSO, cash targets, participation in KPI measurements.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with all major stakeholders, including sponsors and companies.
  • People and talent development - Encourage training and learning initiatives for the team.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Experianced cash collection/credit controller with leadership/supervisory experience of a small to medium sized team.
  • Proven experience of working on complex accounts.
  • Proven success of reducing aged debt and team development.
  • Highly self-motivated individual who is articulate, an excellent cumminicator, flexible and calm within a fast pasced environment.
