JOB TITLE: Mental Health Practitioner, Primary Care
LOCATIONS: Banbury Cross PCN (based Banbury Cross Health Centre, South Bar House, Banbury)
This is an exciting time for General Practice. All practices within the county have come together to work in Primary Care Networks (PCNs). These are groups of GP practices working in partnership to support their local population.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Practitioner to join our team. This exciting new role will provide assessment, treatment and advocacy for patients registered in general practice for Banbury Cross PCN and will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary clinical team based at Banbury Cross Health Centre
About the Job:
The role will involve liaison, consultation and joint working with primary care colleagues, as well as liaison with secondary care, social work and voluntary sector staff.
The Primary Care Mental Health Practitioner will be responsible for the assessment, treatment and advocacy of a cohort of patients, defined as:
Clinical supervision and mentoring support will be provided as part of the role.
