B5 Nurse (Skegness Hospital):

We are Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS), the primary community healthcare provider in Lincolnshire delivering services aimed at supporting people to manage their own health closer to home an reducing the need for people to go into acute hospitals. We are rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission and are playing an integral part in shaping future health service provision countywide alongside partner health and social care organizations.

This is an exciting prospect to be part of a successful organization and team based at one of our two in-patient wards at Skegness Hospital. Skegness Community Hospital has 2 wards, Gloucester and Scarborough which work closely together to provide rehabilitation, palliative and transitional care for patients requiring either step-up care from the community or step-down care from acute services.

We have an opportunity for a number of registered Nurses or Nurse Associates to join our dedicated teams, with both full and part time opportunities available. This opportunity could also be suitable for a newly qualified nurse looking for the first step in their healthcare career.

The successful candidates will be responsible for assessing care needs, and the planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care using innovative research based effective practice. Good communication skills, both oral and written are also required, as well as being able to demonstrate evidence of team working.

There will also be the benefit of a progressive development plan to enhance their current skills in a variety of medical competencies. At LCHS we focus on ‘growing our own’ by prioritizing development opportunities and supporting growth.
