BANK Community Paediatric Nurse Band 5/6 – Childrens Integrated Community Nursing Team

  • Are you a motivated Band 5 or Band 6 Paediatric Nurse who is passionate about providing the best care to children and their families within the community?

  • Come and join our friendly, innovative team on the bank as we enter the exciting phase of the redevelopment of our Integrated Community Children’s Nursing Service.

Solent East Community Children’s Nursing Team delivers nursing care to children with complex health needs and urgent care needs across Portsmouth City and South East Hampshire including Fareham and Gosport. These complex health needs include epilepsy, enteral feeding and tracheostomy care to full home ventilation and includes some children with life limiting conditions. We are looking for well-motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Bank Community Paediatric Nurses.

You will also be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families and working with them to achieve the best possible outcomes for everyone. This will also involve teaching parents, carers and other health professionals as required and supporting students to the working environment.

You need to be motivated, forward thinking and have a sound professional knowledge and excellent communication skills. You should have the ability to prioritise and work both independently and as part of a team.
