About the Team and Department

The e-Rostering and Attendance (ERA) Team are part of the Human Resources Directorate based at Regent Point, Gosforth. We provide support and management of the Trust's ERA system, its hand scanning devices and its users. We aid users to roster effectively and efficiently and ensure that the right staff are in the right place, at the right time, which ultimately benefits patient care. The role gives you an opportunity to work within a highly motivated and friendly team who are continually adapting to provide excellent customer service.

What will the role entail?

Your key tasks will be supporting users of the ERA system by providing advice and guidance via telephone and email, configuring the system to meet the needs of the service and supporting the ERA System Administrators on a daily basis. You may be required to travel to other sites to meet with managers to provide one to one support on complex rostering or hand scanning queries. You will be able to contribute to the delivery of new functionality across the Trust and develop yourself as a system expert, to be able to upskill and train new users. Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated with a strong eye for attention to detail. You will be a confident communicator and have good interpersonal/administrative skills and knowledge. It is essential that you enjoy working within a team and have a friendly and professional attitude and a calm and confident manner. You will also have strong IT skills, knowledge of windows based software and confidence in learning and using IT systems. As you will be supporting system developments and enhancements, someone who embraces change would be the ideal candidate. Previous working knowledge within the NHS and eRostering/ Time and Attendance systems is desirable.
