Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1m people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

We are currently looking for Mental Health Practitioner to join the MHSOP Team across Evington and Bennion Centre sites.

You need to have transferable skills and have experience of working within ward settings - this post is full time 37.5 hours.

You'll be joining a team who provides dedicated Mental Health and Physical Health needs to all patients that come to our services.

Our team is made up of Health Care Support Workers, Nursing (RMN, RGN, RNLD), Consultants, Junior Doctors, Admin. and Therapy staff. The team roughly comprises around 40 dedicated employees working various shift patterns. You would be reporting to the Charge Nurse of the ward who is keen to support their staff and develop their skills.

Working in MHSOP is a challenging but a very rewarding place to be. You would be working as part of a developing team who work closely together and supporting each other. The management structure within MHSOP is approachable and friendly.

Coming to join our team will give you experiences and skills for your career. You will also have many opportunities to develop your skills and gain further knowledge.

We have excellent training opportunities, with progression opportunities to develop you. There is ongoing support by both your line manager and higher management.

The role will involve caring for our patients, completing daily tasks as stated in the job description and assist with the patient's journey from admission to discharge.
