PTS Contact Centre Senior Call Handler

Non-Emergency Patient Transport are currently recruiting for a Senior Call Handler, this role would suit you if you have demonstrable experience of assisting with supervising staff. Experience of working in a customer focused environment, awareness of equality and diversity in the working environment and the surrounding community, good geographical knowledge of the Operational area and day to day experience of using the full range of Microsoft Office applications. You will need to be available to commit to working a mixture of 7.5 hours between 0700am-2100pm Monday to Friday and Bank Holidays. Note: There may be the need to work flexibly on weekends when the need arises.

The role is based at our Contact Centre in Otterbourne, nr Winchester. NHS PayScale Band 3.

To be considered for this role you will be someone who has experience of assisting with supervising a team and is great with customers over the telephone. You are able to show compassion and care towards the patients, carers and Health Care Professionals you are providing a service to as well as the team. You will be used to working in a target orientated environment and will thrive on receiving a high number of varied and challenging queries per shift and are confidant in problem solving. We are looking for employees who can demonstrate a calm, professional and mature manner within the Contact Centre, an adaptable and articulate telephone manner, good keyboard skills, and the ability to listen to our patients and the team.

As a Senior Call Handler the shifts required are; 7.5 hours between 0700am-2100pm Monday to Friday and Bank Holidays. Note: There may be the need to work flexibly on weekends when the need arises. This will attract unsocial hours payments based on section 2 payments.
