Become part of a great team promoting our Trust’s values – responsible, passionate and respectful. Woodlands ward is a Paediatric 16 bedded ward with an additional clinical assessment unit for general medical and surgical paediatric patients as well as day admissions.

You will work within a dual role as a care support worker and ward clerk which are rostered independently to provide safe, effective and responsive care that meets the physical, spiritual, emotional and social needs of patients and their families/carers. You will work directly with patients and families within the ward setting on a shift basis which includes night and weekend shifts (07:30-20:00/19:30-08:00) when rostered as a CSW and week day only when rostered as Ward Clerk. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to work in an often fast paced environment.
