£31,365 - £37,890 + 5% HCA

Surrey Downs Health and Care

Are you a Band 6 Physio or experienced Band 5 looking for an exciting challenge in our community neuro team?

If so, come and join our highly skilled, fully integrated and supportive MDT!

You will be working with a range of acquired neurological disorders and client groups including stroke, traumatic brain injury and progressive conditions. The caseload is varied and you will be required to deliver tailored intervention which is delivered across a wide variety of settings, including acute hospital, inpatient rehabilitation, client’s homes, nursing homes and outpatient clinics.

You will liaise closely with colleagues in the acute setting to facilitate safe discharge into the community and will work as part of a uni-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary community team (colleagues include Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Neuropsychology, Nurse specialists as well as dietetics who are based on the same site) to deliver goal driven input, based at The Poplars, Epsom for 3 rotations and in the Acute hospital at Epsom for 1 rotation. The MDT is forward thinking and committed to professional development and evidence based practice. This is demonstrated through regular departmental and joint training sessions, journal club, CPD sessions and ongoing development and improvement of the service. the post holder will also be required to work on the respiratoryon call rota at Epsom Hospital.T

Due to the nature of the community based role, a full driving licence and access to a car for business purposes is essential.
