Band 7 Clinical Case Lead: WTE 37.5hrs

We are rapidly expanding our Transforming Care Programme offer to the people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland . An exciting opportunity has come available for a Clinical case lead, band 7 to join our expanding team within the LD services. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team.

We are looking for a highly experienced, registered RNLD with a strong learning disabilities nurse clinical and managerial background, excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and motivation to provide visible leadership supporting the discharge of patients within our inpatient services and supporting discharge from alternative hospital placements. The post holder will be an experienced band 5 or 6 nurse who can demonstrate that they have a range of transferable skills that will benefit the delivery of high standards of care and enrich the MDT.

The role involves supporting the nursing team to deliver packages of care to a diverse group of people with complex needs. You will need to be able to display a positive attitude and have the ability to challenge positively where necessary.

The successful candidate will also need to be flexible and adaptable in order to work effectively in a challenging environment and fully contribute to our quality improvement Programme. The role will involve working closely with Band 7s and the team manager to ensure that performance standards and best practice are achieved.

Training and support will be offered to the right applicant, and this is an excellent opportunity for skill development in a continuously changing and dynamic environment.
