If so then the Darent Valley ED team is for you!

The ED team is passionate about getting it right for patients and their families – in order to achieve this we are looking to recruit a Band 7 Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to complement our existing team. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic emergency nurse who has a proven ED background who has the ability to problem solve whilst working under pressure.

You will work within a team to ensure a seamless high standard of service provision over the 24hr period. Each Band 7 leads and is responsible for their own team of staff and will need to demonstrate a flexible, hardworking and motivated approach to delivering high quality patient care that is an example to the junior staff you will be leading.

You will be committed to excellent patient care and staff development with a desire to promote change and quality throughout the team.

You will need to have a post graduate qualification in Emergency Nursing, Mentorship course and ALS in date. EPLS would be an advantage. There is opportunity for further development as the department is supported by a Practice Development Nurse and Nurse consultant.
