An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, clinically experienced Nurse to join the Leicester NIHR Clinical Research Facility at the University Hospitals of Leicester .

We are inviting applications from a suitably experienced team player to work primarily in early Phase trials across our 3 hospital sites.

You will be the first point of contact with the research team for patients and it is vital that you are both welcoming and professional in your approach to all. A key member of the team, as such we need you to be proactive and forward-thinking. You will be the go-to person on a portfolio of studies and so an ability to deal with issues as they arise is essential.

The post requires a high level of clinical experience as per the job description/ person specification. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages and experience of using/accessing UHL databases would also be an advantage although training will be available.

You must be and NMC registered nurse , be a good, clear communicator and be confident and calm in all situations. Previous experience of working within the NHS would be a distinct advantage.

Working hours are negotiable however some flexibility will be needed on an infrequent basis to cover out of hours study activity.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
