An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation dedicated to the service of children and families. Sheffield Children’s Hospital is one of four Children’s Trusts in the country and is a leading centre for development of integrated Children’s Services. Within the Trust, is the Becton Centre for Children and Young People, which is a state-of-the-art centre for children and young adults aged up to 18 with serious and complex mental health issues.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Dietitian to work within the multi-disciplinary team in a tier 4 CAMHS setting. You will provide and support children, young people & their families, forming a key element of the treatment care pathway. As an autonomous practitioner you will work to promote a knowledge and understanding within Tier 4 CAMHS of the issues facing children, young people and families/Carers who require support, advice and interventions in relation to their dietary input.

This post is offered on a fixed term basis for 12 months to provide cover for Maternity Leave.

If a DBS check is required for the post you are applying for any offer of employment will be provisional on a satisfactory DBS check being obtained.

In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£45). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
