Band 5 Staff Nurse

Are you an RGN looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about delivering high quality care within a modern Endoscopy Unit? Do you have previous endoscopy experience at band 5 or above?

The post advertised is Band 5 staff Nurse within the Melton Alliance Endoscopy Team and Band 5 Staff Nurse within the St Luke’s Endoscopy Team.

30.0 hours per week at Melton Hospital

30.0 hours per week at St Luke’s, Market Harborough

We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join an existing team of staff who are passionate about delivering high quality patient centred care. You will have the opportunity to develop new skills and consolidate existing skills whilst working as part of a strong and cohesive team.

You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and service users.

Good organisational skills and a flexible approach to work are essential.

You’re duties will include working in the endoscopy room, assisting with therapeutic work and looking after patient care, admissions, recovery, discharge and decontamination.

No experience necessary as full on the job training will be given once in post.

The Alliance has 4 endoscopy units in the county – Hinckley, Melton, Loughborough and St Luke’s in Market Harborough. Once you have been successful at interview Melton or St Luke’s will be your base site and this is where you will work most of your shifts. However on occasion you will be expected to travel across site and help cover at one of the other Alliance hospitals. Therefore ability to travel between sites and be a car driver is essential for the role.
