Job overview

We are looking for an experienced IT/IG Administration Manager to manage all functions of the EMIS and IT systems within the practice. The post holder will assist the General Manager by providing data/reports and will assist the whole team by becoming the expert in all areas of IT for the practice.

The post holder will also manage the Administration and Care Navigation teams, supported by the Team Leaders within the teams.

Main duties of the role

Responsibility for overseeing all aspects of IT/computer systems. Running searches and setting up templates as and when necessary. Being the first point of contact for the practice with regards to IT issues. Liaising with external companies with regards to IT issues.

The Post Holder will be the main contact with regards to Information Governance and will be required to complete the annual IG toolkit. To be responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance of Practice Data Security Polices and GDPR, responsibility for maintaining and updating practice Website and TeamNet.

The post holder will have a knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Enhanced Services and Quality and Outcome Framework.

The Post Holder will manage the administration Team and Care Navigation Team with the support of the team Leaders within the teams

 

Act as a focal point of communication between patients, doctors, nurses and other members of the primary health care team.
