Band 8A Interstitial Lung Disease Clinical Nurse Specialist – Respiratory Service

We are currently looking for an experienced, motivated and innovative clinical nurse specialist to join our established, innovative and continuously evolving respiratory team.

Our Interstitial Lung Disease Service is one of only 15 nationally and our ILD team comprises a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team who strive to ensure patients receive the optimum care. We endeavour to deliver individualised patient care of the highest level, which is evidence based and forward thinking.

We have a robust clinical governance programme, a comprehensive education framework, and an expanding portfolio of research across the broad spectrum of subspecialty interests.

The Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist will act as a highly advanced expert practitioner in the management of interstitial lung disease and sarcoidosis. Predominantly leading nurse-led clinics the ILD CNS, with support and guidance from the ILD consultants, will be an expert in providing information, assessing, advising, managing and supporting patients (and their families/carers), from diagnosis through to end of life care.

This new role brings an exciting dimension to our team and the successful candidate will join a responsive and enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team, who will value your contribution, assure support, and facilitate career progression. Providing an environment that will assist you to develop as an autonomous practitioner clinically, professionally and as well as personally.
