Blaenau Gwent Older Adult Mental Health Services are looking for a committed and dynamic experienced nurse to provide leadership and clinical direction to the inpatient unit in Cedar Parc Ward, Ysbyty'r Tri Chwm, Ebbw Vale. This is a busy dementia assessment ward which provides 15 inpatient assessment beds. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sound clinical leadership and will have a value base that is person centered and in line with current evidenced based practice. They will be able to work alongside and support an inpatient multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective, person centered care aimed at maintaining independence and personhood.

They will be committed to the development of the team and themselves through supervision, reflective practice,. They will be open and enthusiastic to new ways of working. The ward manager will work with the Senior Nurse and frontline leaders in ensuring that the inpatient care provided is of the highest quality.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
