Harrogate Integrated Facilities are inviting applications to fill a technician post in our reputable Sterile Services Department.

We have recently expanded and have opportunities to recruit dynamic, friendly and highly motivated individuals to our well established technical team of around 30 staff. You will be committed to teamwork and delivering a first class customer service.

The department specialises in processing surgical instruments and flexible endoscopes through the decontamination lifecycle, ready for patient use. It has a throughput of approximately 180,000 surgical instruments and 1500 flexible endoscopes each month.

Full training will be given for the role, but previous manufacturing or processing experience is advantageous.

Following a successful probation period and full training in the department, the candidate will be offered an Apprenticeship Standard 099 in Healthcare Science Assistant L2.

We are looking for staff for both full and part time vacancies to cover the following shifts: -

  • 00-14.00, 10.00-18.00 & 14.00-22.00 (on a rotation) Monday - Friday to include some weekend shifts 08.00-16.30.
  • Monday – Friday 10.00-15.00
  • Monday - Friday 16.00-21.00
