The opportunity

As our Cardiology Services Lead Nurse you will:work veryclosely withmatron and the senior management team todrive the expansion of the currentcardiologydiagnostic and interventionalserviceby

  • Line managingthe key clinicalstaff
  • Workingalongside the consultants and the nursing teams to teach and develop surgical team knowledge and competency
  • Createand facilitate idealpatients’ pathways for cardiology / cardiac patient a cross all areas of the hospital


The person

To succeed as aCardiology Services Lead Nurse, you will need:

  • At least 3 years postqualification experience inworkingin cardiology/ cardiac services
  • Managerialexperience / team, leadershipexperience
  • Tobe an excellent and mature communicator
  • Have experience in service developmentandchange management

Salary - upto£43,000 dependanton experience, per annum

Location - Cambridge Hospital

Hours - Full time, 37.5 Hours per week
