Exciting opportunity to join The College Practice, a forward thinking GP surgery located in Maidstone.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, dedicated GP (with partnership opportunities) to join our large, friendly, knowledgeable multidisciplinary team, supported by a compliment of dedicated administrative staff.

We are a high performing forward thinking GP training practice with a strong ethos of continuity of patient care, team work and peer support. We have a list size of circa 20,000 patients, use Vision and our most recent CQC rating was GOOD. We operate on a mixture of clinical triage, multidisciplinary working and customised session lengths to suit individual clinician’s means that both patients and clinicians are happy. We understand that multimodal consultations can be daunting at first – full induction and training is offered and applicants are welcome to speak to current clinicians who all enjoy this way of working.

What we offer Salaried GP’s;

  • Any combination of sessions from 1 per week to full-time
  • Full indemnity paid and up to £10k per session
  • Flexible start and finish times and flexible session length too
  • No duty sessions
  • A contract based on the BMA model contract with ample time for admin
  • Generous salary, 6 weeks annual leave, one week study leave. 182 hours of CPD per year
  • The opportunity to develop teaching or minor surgery interest if desired
  • A resilient approach to workload and reduction of inappropriate demand
