An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Connected Palliative Care Service for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our existing administrative team in supporting patients at end of life.

Key requirements are:

Knowledge in the use of SystmOne or databases.

Well developed communication skills including dealing with distressed patients and families over the telephone.

Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

The ability to prioritise workload is essential together with the ability to work as part of an integrated team.

The post holder will be required to work on a shift rota basis to cover the hours of 8am-8pm, seven days a week. Working 1 in 6 weekends with days off in week and working Bank Holidays including Christmas Holidays.
