Norfolk First Response – Nights (8:00pm - 06:30am)

9.45 mins per night, 45 min break = 34hr week average

Rota pattern to be agreed.

 

Norfolk First Response includes: Norfolk First Support, which provides home based reablement and assessment; Norfolk Swift Response, a 24/7 response service for unplanned needs (Swifts and Night Owls); accommodation based reablement and Supported Care in North and South Norfolk which is funded by the CCGs. It provides support to over 20,000 people a year. 

 

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Operational Manager to provide support to our services and staff working overnight. The role will include line management of Norfolk Swift Response teams who coordinate and deliver assistance to residents of Norfolk who have urgent unplanned social care needs such as uninjured falls and personal care.

 

This is a challenging and rewarding role with oversight and management of diverse services providing both planned and unplanned care in specialist reablement units and people’s own homes. You will be liaising closely with Adult Social Services Emergency Duty Team, Ambulance Service and alarm providers to ensure Norfolk Residents receive the most appropriate response to their needs.

There will be a requirement to work 7 nights over a fortnight, including alternate weekends and bank holidays when on shift. Travel to other offices within Norfolk will be required. Mileage will be paid for travel to and from an identified base to be negotiated on successful application.

We anticipate that working remotely will be a key feature of this role and when offices re-open your office base will be County Hall, Norwich.  Our technology platform and equipment is first class enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity.
