Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist inpatient and community mental health, learning disabilities, addiction and acquired brain injury services for the people of Liverpool, Sefton and Kirkby, Merseyside. We also provide community physical health services in Liverpool, Sefton, secure mental health services for the North West of England, the West Midlands and Wales and specialist learning disability services across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside.

An opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Management Assistant (Cleaning /Catering /Portering duties) to work part of a team at Clock View Hospital, to carry out Cleaning, Catering and Portering duties and help us maintain the high standards already set within this department and in line with National Standards. We are looking to recruit a number of team members who have a flexible approach to their workload, can work to deadlines and show high standards of quality in their work. You will be expected to carry out a full range of Domestic / Portering duties. You must have good communication skills, a pleasant personality, a positive attitude and a willingness to work within an acute mental health ward environment providing a high standard of cleanliness at all times. You must also possess the ability to work within a team or on your own as necessary with an understanding of health and safety in relation to safe working practices.

Shift Pattern: Various shifts to cover week days and weekends will be discussed at Interview (Fixed term contract until 31st March 2021 Some experience in a similar role would be beneficial however full training will be given This post is subject to a standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. *The closing date given is a guide.
