This is a Locum part time appointment in Dental Radiology at University College London Hospitals. The post-holder will work closely with the existing team of Consultant Radiologists to develop and enhance the imaging service which the Department provides. The Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals is one of the UK's largest hospitals for ENT hospital surgery and Audio vestibular Medicine and provides a wide range of services, from grommets or complex head and neck surgery, to detailed vestibular assessment for adults and children and cochlear implants. The ENT out-patient department provides both routine and specialist clinics including some nurse-led clinics.

The Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals is an outpatient building only. The new facility has eight theatres, a dedicated recovery area and ward for patients who need to stay in hospital. Patients having ENT, oral surgery or orthopaedic surgery will be treated in this building. The Imaging Dept has 2 x CBCT, 1 x 3T MRI scanner Dental Radiology and Ultrasound

The post-holder must have sub specialty experience in Dental Radiology. The Radiology Department is very active in both teaching and research and the post-holder would be expected to participate in these.

Applicants should possess the FRCR or equivalent and be on the specialist register or within 6 months of obtaining their CCST.

Please note that if you are at present in a training position on the 2016 new junior doctor’s contract and are applying for a Trust doctor role your salary will not be pay protected.

You will be placed on the appropriate point of the Trust Doctor pay scale based on your previous experience.
