Help us with the fight against Covid19

A new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Health Care Assistant/Champion PPE to work in our newly refurbished site in Wallingford.

We are looking for an individual with the ability to provide quality care and who possesses good interpersonal and communication skills and has ideally had some previous experience in a health care role.

Your role in the team will be varied. Your time will be spent helping to ensure that our general Hub and dedicated Covid19 Hub services run smoothly and efficiently, by assisting with patient care in all areas and supporting the clinicians generally as you work as part of a team. You will also spend some time every day behind the scenes, ensuring our stock room is organised and in good order.

You will need to be compassionate and caring and be able to demonstrate that you can maintain the privacy and dignity of all our patients, at all times in this busy environment .The ability to work under pressure and remain calm is essential.

Ideally, you will be an experienced Health Care Assistant or you may have recent experience of working in a health care environment dealing with patients. You will support and report to the senior clinical on site.

You will be based at the Community Hospital site and the hours of work to be covered are Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 7.00pm so ability to work flexibly is preferred, please include the days and times you are available to work in your supporting information.

We believe that local care providers, who know and understand the health needs of their own patients, and who are used to working collaboratively in their region, can provide the best quality and most cost effective integrated primary care services. We work to develop services we know people want and need so that patients get the best care options for their circumstances.

After over a decade in business, we have a proven track record of success in delivering a diverse range of services and we are continually looking to bid for new contract opportunities and to recruit motivated and ambitious staff to join us.
