We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Occupational Therapist to join The Community Therapy Team In Furness. This exciting new OT post is a first for the team and is to support an MDT approach in the delivery of the post-covid rehabilitation pathways

This service provides adult general community therapy and rehabilitation In the Furness Locality. Patients are seen in their own homes and also in nursing and residential care care settings.

Community therapy services are currently aligning to the Integrated Care Community structure, supporting the health needs of the local population, registered to a GP practice, thus enhancing multi-disciplinary team working.

The community therapy team supports clients to progress through their rehabilitation journey and support the transfer of care into the community setting, when clients have ongoing therapy needs.

This post will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work within a proactive multidisciplinary team with partners from health and social care.

Full and part time or secondment applications will be considered.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
