The Information Governance (IG) team are looking to recruit a Band 4 Access to Records Coordinator on a 0.5 whole time equivalent (18.75 hours per week) basis, for one year.

The candidate will work alongside the current Band 4 Access to Records Coordinator to manage all the Trust's subject access requests, facilitating patients, solicitors and the police in obtaining records, and supporting staff to meet the legal time frame in providing health information.

Additional administrative duties will be required to support the small but busy IG team, helping to resolve information governance questions and queries. The role will also involve supporting staff within the Trust and liaising with external parties. This post would suit someone who is confident, manages their time well, and works well as part of a small team., and the successful applicant will be required to understand and respect patient confidentiality.

This is a fixed term, part time role. The hours are not fixed, but there would be an expectation for the post holder to work a minimum of three days per week.
