General Practitioners - Do you want to be part of a team which is passionate about delivering high quality care to its rural community?

The practice based in a purpose built building which houses the practice, health services and social services on site. Canolfan Goffa Ffestiniog is based in Blaenau Ffestiniog and offers its GPs a flexible approach to work patterns with full, part or portfolio contacts, and is focused on delivering high quality care within its multi professional team.

The Surgery: Canolfan Goffa Ffestiniog is focused on delivering care in a Multi-Disciplinary team approach including Nurses, Physiotherapists and Pharmacists to support this approach to patient care.

  • We believe in trust and team work, to deliver excellent care to our Patients.
  • We are a Health Board Managed Practice, with a list size of 5000 patients

The Role: We’re looking for a number of GPs to join the team. The pay range we’re offering is £60,257 - £90,928 per annum.

  • We offer a generous relocation package of up to £8k.
  • We are able to be flexible on your contract with full, part or portfolio contacts available.
  • Generous annual leave allowance of 30 days +10 bank holidays.
  • Opportunity to work from home

Requirements:

  • Full GMC Registration.
  • Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice / Certificate Confirming Eligibility for General Practice Registration (CEGPR), or equivalent.
  • Included on a Medical Performers List or eligible.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working in Primary Care.

The Location: Canolfan Goffa Ffestiniog is based in Blaenau Ffestiniog, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park (North Wales). We think it’s a great place to live and work because, of its amazing location and views, due to its rich mining history and it is easy accessible by car to Betws y coed (20mins) and Conwy (40mins).

There is a huge range of places you can live, either in the Rural town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, or if you did not want to live quite as rural, Conwy and Colwyn bay are around a 40min drive away.

This family friendly town is in an easy driving distance to number of great state and independent schools, a college that offers a huge variety of courses at varying levels, and we even have a University nearby (Bangor).
