Are you a looking to develop your skills in managing patients post Stroke and/or consolidate previous neurological experience?

The Coventry Neurological Rehabilitation Team (CNRT) has recently been commissioned and we are now in an exciting position to be able to recruit highly functioning professionals to the team.

The CNRT is a community based interdisciplinary therapy team; supporting the timely discharge of patients with neurological conditions; primarily stroke, from University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. The post is based at Newfield House, providing patient centered rehabilitation to patients in the Coventry area aged 18 years and over. You will be an integral part of a friendly and supportive team working with people in their own homes, our out-patient clinic and gym.

This post will offer you with opportunity to consolidate and develop clinical skills working closely with the CNRT Lead Physiotherapist and the Interdisciplinary team.

This post will enable you to develop your neurological physiotherapy skills and offer a unique opportunity to become an integral part of our interdisciplinary team offering patient centered intervention and delivering standards of care and service aligned to the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust Visions and Values.

Your development will be supported through Value Based Appraisal, one to one meetings, and Clinical Supervision. The structure of the team will enable you to work closely with all members of the Interdisciplinary Team and Clinical Lead.

An inclusive team approach and excellent communication skills are essential. You will be expected to work independently and effectively within the Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team to ensure safe and effective management of these patients in the community. You will be able to prioritise your workload and time effectively to support an integrated approach.

This post would suit an experienced band 6 Neuro Physiotherapist looking to develop clinical skills or a band 5 with a range of rotations and experience in the Neurological field wishing to seek the opportunity to specialise in Neurology.

We are a dynamic and friendly team who are committed to providing an excellent patient-centered service, whilst supporting continuous development of clinical skills through joint working, access to a comprehensive in-service training programme, and opportunities to attend internal and external courses.

The successful candidate will have evidence of post-graduate neuro rehabilitation experience and sound clinical reasoning. There is expectation that the candidate will be able be committed to providing high standards of care.
