This is an exciting opportunity for a registered Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse to join the Denbighshire & Wrexham CAMHS School In-Reach Welsh Government pilot. You will work directly with the team and strengthen the specialist CAMHS support which is provided for teaching and non-teaching staff in schools across Wrexham and Denbighshire.

The CAMHS School In-Reach Pilot has received further funding from Welsh Government to extend our service until July 2021. We are hoping to recruit practitioners for initially a 9 month contract. You will be based working from home and will work alongside the Senior Mental Health Practitioners to deliver training, advice, consultation and guidance to education staff to promote the early identification of mental health difficulties being experienced by children and young people.

The ability to drive/travel across the two counties is essential and if you speak Welsh this would be an advantage for the pilot scheme. Please note if you are unable to work full time, alternative working patterns will be considered. It is hoped future employment opportunities within the CAMHS services in Central and East may be available after July 2021.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
