We are looking for a Personal Secretary to work with our Senior Management Team at

The Hartington Unit, Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

The post is working with the senior managers in the Trust and plays a pivotal role supporting them with diary and meeting management essential to the day to day running of our NHS Trust.

If you have diary management and meeting experience and would like to support our Area Service Managers and their team, this post could be for you.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has high quality secretarial skills
  • can prioritise their own work.
  • has experience in diary/email management
  • can take notes of meetings
  • can arrange meetings via Outlook and Microsoft Teams
  • can produce documents and spreadsheets to a high standard
  • can deal with all telephone enquiries
  • will work as part of a small supportive team

DBS Check
The cost of undertaking a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure which will be deducted from your first month’s salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.

IMPORTANT - REFERENCES
We are obliged to check employment history for at least the past 3 years for successful candidates. Please ensure that the referees you provide us cover at least the past 3 years of your employment/training.

PLEASE NOTE, OUR SALARY SCALES ARE INCREMENTAL, AND STAFF NEW TO THE NHS WILL USUALLY START AT THE BOTTOM POINT OF THE PAYSCALE ADVERTISED.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
