Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are proud to have been rated ‘good’ by the CQC and are on the start of a journey to become an outstanding Trust. Due to the retirement of the current post holder at the end of the year we are now looking for a new Chief Medical Officer.

As a Teaching Hospital we are at the forefront of research, education and innovation in healthcare and are the home of the Bradford Institute for Health Research (BIHR). We are excited to be chosen as one of only five Trusts across England to host a new regional Patient Recruitment Centre, part of a £7million government investment and are proud to have been the first NHS Organisation to implement a Command Centre to help us transform care. We are now looking for an innovative and inspirational medical leader who will lead our quality, education and training, and research and innovation agenda going forwards.

This is an exciting and challenging role for the right candidate. You will have strong clinical management/leadership experience combined with evidence of delivering service change, innovation and new ways of working. You should be able to demonstrate how you will best meet the needs of patients in our diverse population.
