Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard-working person to train as a Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician whilst employed on a fixed term contract with Viaduct Care.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a 2 year training programme to become a qualified and GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician, attending a local college for one day a week to complete a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians and in house training based in a Stockport GP practice and Stepping Hill pharmacy department.

You will join a large, forward thinking and friendly team of Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Admin Officers and Medicines Co-ordinators delivering the Stockport Integrated Pharmacy Service (SIPS) across the borough.

To be eligible to apply, applicants must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs which must include Maths, English and 2 Science subjects (or dual Science award) at grade C/4 or above.
You must demonstrate a commitment to study and training to enable you to complete this 2 year programme.
