We are looking to recruit to a number of Deep Cleaners to join our team at Bristol Haematology & Oncology Centre in Bristol.

On a day to day basis, duties will include:-

  • Undertake deep cleaning, including, ward bed spaces, carpet cleaning, changing curtains, use of HPG fogging machines etc.
  • Work in partnership with site based clinical staff to ensure the most effective deep clean with minimal disruption to patient care
  • Complete relevant checklists and other paperwork related to the role
  • Order and top up cleaning materials, with disposables supplied by the supervisor

The ideal candidate will:-

  • Have experience working in a highly pressured cleaning environment,
  • Be a confident communicator, dealing with various staff groups
  • Be able to manage their own workload, and be used to working autonomously
  • Have a desire to work in a healthcare environment, making our hospitals safe and clean

The postholder will be required to work a 2 week alternative shift pattern, ranging from 0700-1400, and 1400-2100 on weekdays and weekends 0700-1330.
