You will be supporting children, young people, young adults and their families with a range of neurological conditions within Chailey Heritage Foundation, a non-maintained residential special school and children's home.

We are looking for an enthusiastic children's nurse who possesses excellent clinical and communication skills, enjoys working as part of a busy team, and is able to work independently. You will need to carry out comprehensive assessments, and plan, implement and evaluate delivery of complex nursing interventions as part of our holistic approach, including supporting children who have long term ventilation requirements.

The service is supported by a team of Practice Development Nurses who will ensure you are competent to meet the needs of the children residing within the services.

The role is demanding, so the ability to work autonomously and manage a clinical caseload is essential.
