The Role


Are you interested in Education? Do you have a passion for delivering high quality learning experience to students? If so, this may be what you’ve been looking for.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, committed, hardworking, flexible and solution-focused individual to join the Practice Education Team which supports Pre-registration Nursing, Preceptorship and Return to Practice, Allied Health Professions, Social Work and Psychological Services. Supporting placement areas to provide an excellent learning experience for student nurses on placements within HPFT is an integral part of this role.

The post holder will provide knowledge, advice and information relating to Practice Education & Learning throughout the Trust whilst ensuring quality learning experience is available in practice.

You will seek to support students in their clinical practice areas ensuring that they receive outstanding clinical placement experience which meets both quality assurance standards and measurable regulatory body requirements. You will work with clinical staff at all levels enabling them to provide support and guidance to students.

The candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong working relationships with colleagues across the Trust. They will be able to work autonomously and effectively taking responsibility for their own work. Having teaching and presentation skills would be an asset to the role.
