Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1m people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Do you have the necessary skills to work in a Leadership role within Community Nursing Services?

Would you enjoy the challenge of providing senior support and clinical oversight within the Charnwood Community HUB?

The Community HUB have 4 teams of nurses led by District Nurses and an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Nurse in Complex Care who would clinically lead the community teams within the HUB, taking overall responsibility for the assessment, management and evaluation of evidence based care to patients in a variety of settings.

Evidence of clinical experience within a community setting is essential for these posts, which will involve you supporting the Community Service Matron and Senior District Nurse in delivering high quality care that delivers best value, and meets the requirements of commissioners.

You will have responsibility for care quality performance and clinical activity by providing professional nursing leadership and guidance, clinical advice and management in relation to the key dimensions of health care quality:

• Patient safety

• The effectiveness of all health care interventions

• Patient experience and the personal qualities we are seeking.

You should have a flexible approach to ways of working and be IT literate.

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, rosters are set in advance at a team level and you will be joining an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date. We will consider requests to vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.

To make the most of your application, we may consider successful applicants for vacancies for the same post in different locations where this is appropriate and meets our mutual requirements.

For all substantive roles the appointment of every new member of staff (excluding medical and dental staff) to a post is subject to a 6 month probationary period, details of which are in our Probation Policy.
