The journey towards end of life can be a complex one. Medical advances and changes in family lives mean that the care we provide to our patients and their families constantly evolves to meet the needs and expectations of our Community. Over the last year, Mountbatten Isle of Wight and Mountbatten Hampshire, have developed a unique partnership, with one senior team leading both organisations.

At Mountbatten Hampshire we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standard of care and support to patients and their families, and constantly strive to ensure we reach as many people as possible, whenever and wherever they may need us. The hospice serves a population of approximately 600,000 and covers Southampton, and parts of West Hampshire. We are a registered charity and company, with our community at the heart of our services.

Currently we have a 21 bedded In-Patient Unit (IPU), a large day, self-help and rehabilitation centre, a community nursing team, Psychosocial care & Bereavement service and an education team. However, our services and approach to care are being constantly developed and expanded to meet the growing demands of increasingly complex health issues and the needs of the community we serve.
