We are currently looking for a band 6 physiotherapist to join the cardiac rehabilitation team at King's Mill Hospital, primarily to lead the exercise element of the programme.

This is a part time post of 18.75 hours per week achieved by flexible working across Monday to Thursday as the service requires. The Cardiac rehabilitation service is led by two full time specialist nurses offering phases 1 - 3 to a range of cardiac patients. The role includes assessing in-patients and out-patients and managing group sessions. The role requires the successful candidate to provide a scar management service, training will be given. There is the expectation of supporting /teaching the cardiac rehabilitation physiotherapy assistant and liaising with the in-patient medical physiotherapy team.

Ideally the desired candidate will have experience working in a cardiac rehabilitation service, be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with an interest in cardiology.
