We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced physiotherapist to reduce the incidence and consequence of falls within the Western Cheshire community. If you have clinical experience in managing people who have fallen and would like to provide leadership in delivering specialist intervention to this cohort of clients then this post could be right for you.

We are looking for a highly motivated, well organised and flexible person with a proactive approach to provide assessment and treatment as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

The post holder would work closely with clients to reduce falls and maximise health, well-being and independence. They would be part of a dynamic team delivering specialist assessment and tailored rehabilitation programmes to those who have fallen, or are at risk of falling. This post holder would be responsible for running a falls clinic, including the assessment and treatment of BPPV. The post holder would also be expected to deliver a domiciliary service assessing falls risk and prevention and provide clinical expertise and support to the therapists in the integrated Care Community teams. Access to transport for work purposes is essential.

In addition, when required the post holder would be expected to provide tailored training sessions to a range of audiences improving the prevention and management of falls across the whole system.

You will need to be able to work in an autonomous way and have the ability to manage a caseload of patients who may have complex presentations. You will be involved in the assessment, treatment and/or appropriate referral to other services to ensure care coordination. The post holder will require sound clinical knowledge alongside good organisational and communication skills.
