An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time (22.5 hours), Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our Portsmouth CAMHS Team, based within Falcon House, St James' Hospital, Portsmouth. The successful candidate will be working across the whole Portsmouth CAMHS team – offering clinical work, clinical supervision and teaching packages.

This is an exciting time to join a dynamic and innovative CAMHS service, whilst working with the Portsmouth CAMHS team. The service is a forward thinking, specialist Multi-Disciplinary Team, working hard to deliver clinical care pathways, using evidence-based practice, to ensure timely and effective interventions are offered to children, young people and their families that maximise mental health and maintain children and young people within their home and educational environment.

We are looking for a dedicated and pro-active professional who would share both our Solent NHS Trust values and Service ethos. If you enjoy working as part of a diverse, Multi-Disciplinary Team, have excellent communication skills, hold the relevant qualifications/skills, are passionate about working with young people and about making a positive difference to young people’s mental health and their families’ lives, we would be delighted to hear from you.

The successful candidates will be offered regular 1:1 line management as well as individual, team and therapeutic models clinical supervision. Whilst also having an opportunity to join clinical case discussion meetings, peer supervision groups and regular academic learning events.
