italk is the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service provided in partnership between Solent Mind and Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. We are currently recruiting for:

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week (30 Hours Per Week Minimum Part Time Also Considered)

Salary Range: £38,000 (Pro Rata) Per Annum

Location: Based At Either Eastleigh (West)/Gosport (East)/Basingstoke (North)

An exciting opportunity has arisen in line with expansion of the italk service to expand the Step 2 team with this new Hub Lead role.


We are looking to recruit to 3 Hub Lead roles to work alongside the Clinical Management team to manage the organisation and co-ordination of Low Intensity interventions for people with common mental health difficulties. You will need to be a good role model with strong professional boundaries to provide support and leadership, both clinically and operationally, across our hubs within Hampshire. The ability to negotiate and build relationships with external agencies is also vital to this role.


The post holder will need a secure knowledge of Step 2 IAPT based treatments in order to deliver these to patients as well as to help develop, support, train and provide clinical supervision to the rest of the team. You will also have opportunities to develop the Step 2 provision within italk and its expansion in the upcoming years.


The role is perfect for Senior PWPs who are looking to develop a Step 2 service and develop their career within our Step 2 Low Intensity Service.  Please mention in your application how long you have been working as a Senior PWP.


This is a challenging role and you will need to be resilient and flexible to cope with the constantly changing needs of staff and the service.
